Install the App
Cash App is a mobile app that helps you easily manage your money. You can use Cash App to pay bills, shop, and get real-time alerts when your balances change. To add Cash App to your phone, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store on your phone.
- Search for “CashApp.”
- Tap the “Install” button next to the Cash App icon.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account and start using Cash App.
Login to your Cash App
If you’re not already signed in to your Cash App, sign in now. If you have two accounts, we recommend signing in to each one separately.
Once you’re logged in, copy the link for this article and go to your Cash App home screen. From there, tap the three lines in the top left corner and then tap Add account.
Tap Login with Facebook and enter your Facebook account details. Tap Log In with Email and enter your email address and Tap Done once all of your information is filled out.
Add a Bank Account

Scan the barcode of your Dave Card
Assuming you already have the Dave app installed on your phone, open it and click on the three lines in the top left corner.
This will open up a menu of options. From here, scroll down to “Scan barcodes” and tap on it. This will take you to a new screen where you can scan the barcode of any item you want to buy.
Once you’ve scanned the code, go ahead and enter the price of the item into the field next to it. Then, hit the “buy” button at the bottom of the screen. You’ll be taken to a new screen where you’ll need to enter your payment information. Make sure that your bank account is set up so that you can easily make payments through Dave, and then tap on “pay now” to complete your purchase.
If everything goes well, you’ll be taken back to the main screen of the app and will see that your purchase has been processed. Congratulations! You’ve just made a purchase using cash within the Dave app!
Verify Your Identity
If you’re looking to add the Cash App to your smartphone and use its powerful features, there are a few things you’ll need to do first.
- First, open the Cash App and sign in. If you don’t have an account yet, create one now.
- Next, locate your profile photo on the home screen of the app. You’ll need this photo to complete the sign-in process.
- After signing in, find the “Settings” tab on the main menu of the Cash App. Here, you’ll need to verify your identity by entering your date of birth and social security number.
- Once verified, you’ll be able to use all of Cash App’s great features!
Add Money to Your Wallet
There are a few ways to add cash to your wallet with the Dave app. You can either add money through the app or your bank’s site.
To add money through the app: open the Dave app and sign into your account. Tap on the Menu button and then tap on Add Money. Enter the amount you want to add and hit Add Money. You will see your new balance in green in the Cash tab of the app.
To add money through your bank’s website: open up your bank’s online banking site and find the Cash tab. Enter your Dave login information (username and password) and hit Add Money. You will see your new balance in green next to each account in the Cash tab.
Use Your Dave Card
Cash App is a fast, secure and easy way to make and spend money. With Cash App, you can easily send and receive money with friends and family, shop for products and services, and get paid in minutes. To get started:
- Open the Cash App app on your phone.
- Tap the Menu button in the upper left corner of the app screen.
- Tap Add Money.
- Enter your bank account number, routing number, and account password. You’ll also need to provide your email address.
- Once you’ve finished filling out the details, tap Next.
- Review your deposited funds and select how you want your money sent (either as a direct deposit or through an external transfer). Tap Next again to finish setting up your account.
- To start spending your cash, open the Menu button again in the Cash App app screen and tap Spend Money. From here you can easily find products and services that accept cash payments as well as pay bills, rent or mortgage payments,ect….
Deposit Money at a Dave Store
Adding Cash App to Dave is easy! Here’s how:
- Open the Cash App app on your phone.
- Tap on the “Add Account” button in the top right corner of the app.
- Enter your name and email address, and then tap “Next”.
- Tap on the “Add Payment Method” button, and then select “Dave Store” from the list of options.
- Enter your bank account information, and then tap “Save & Done!”
- Your Dave Store account will now be added to the Cash App app, and you can start depositing money right away!
Transfer Money Between Accounts
If you use Cash App, you can easily transfer money between your accounts. Just open the app, sign in, and select your bank from the list on the left. Then enter the amount you want to transfer and the recipient’s bank account number. Click “Send.”
Get Paid via Cash App
If you’re already a fan of the app, adding it to your day-to-day routine is easy. Just open the app and sign in. Tap the three lines in the top left corner, then “Add Card.” Select your card from the list and enter your bank account information. Save your card by pressing “Done.” Next, open the Settings menu and select “Cash App Payments.” Enable cash app payments for each card you want to use. Whenever you make a purchase or pay for something using cash app, your linked cards will be automatically charged.
