How to Use Dave with Cash App

2. Under Accounts, select Add Account.
3. Type in your bank account information and add a security code.
4. Select your payment method—either a bank account or debit card—and enter your billing address.
5. Click Next to continue to set up your account preferences.

7. To send money, open the Money tab on the main screen of the app and select Send Money from the menu on the left side of the screen. It’s important to remember to include the recipient’s name and contact information in each payment so you can track it properly!
8. To receive money, open the Money tab on the main screen of the app and select Receive Money from the menu on the right side of the screen. Enter your billing address into the form on the right side of the screen, and enter your recipient’s name and contact information into corresponding fields on the left side of the screen so you can quickly get payments into your wallet!

If you’re new to Dave, or if you’re not sure how to use it with Cash App, here are a few tips to help make your experience better:
1. Set up your profiles:
To start using Dave with Cash App, you’ll first need to set up your profiles. You can do this by opening the app and clicking on the three lines in the top right corner (the ones that say “Profile”), then clicking on “Account settings.” Next, you’ll need to enter your email address and password, and click on “Create profile.” Finally, you’ll be prompted to add a photo. We recommend uploading a picture of yourself that’s easy to identify (like a screenshot from your phone), and make sure it’s sized at least 300 pixels wide by 200 pixels high. Once you’ve set up your profiles, you’ll be able to use them both in the app and on the website.
2. Choose which bills you want to receive alerts for:
By default, Dave will send notifications for all of the bills in your account- including both regular and premium bills. If you only want notifications for certain types of bills (regular or premium, for example), you can select those in Account settings under “Bills received.” You can also customize which bills get sent directly to your phone as alerts- this is helpful if you don’t have time to checkDave every day but want an alert when there’s an important financial transaction happening.
